The Brio String Quartet  was founded during the summer of 2011, uniting the talents of four musicians from Norway (Oliver Payne - violin), Ukraine (Nazar Danysh – violin) , Bielosussia (Sofia Tkach – violin) and Spain (Raul Molero Fernandez – violonchelo), each
one of  them  contributing their extensive experience from their respective countries.

The close musical understanding between the four members coupled with a refined tequenic, create an energetic and deeply expressive interpretation.

The four mucisians have graduated from: The Barratt-Due Musicinstitute(Oslo),The University of Arts & Culture (Kiev),The Music Conservatory (Minsk), under professors such as Urmas Tummik, Mikhail Milman and Stephan Barratt-Due.

Their repertoire ranging from the classic/romantic period to more contemporary/popular works, make them a quartet for all audiences, young and old...

Here it´s also worth mentioning their challenging musical journey though the tangos of the world - "Tangos though space and time".

This series of concerts constitute a research into tangos from around the world, from different periods and countries. The Brio Quartet have also been involved in an educational project creating an interesting didactical programme aimed at bringing classical music to children.

March 2013 they participated in the music festival "Noche en Madrid", and have been invited to play at the Malaga Music Festival  " Terral 2013 ".
